Intervention of Sareco at the 23rd congress of the FUB

Julien Cavaille , a research engineer at Sareco, co-led the workshop " Bicycle Parking : A Battle for Parking Spaces?" at the 23rd Congress of the French Federation of Bicycle Users (FUB), held on March 9 and 10, 2023, in Rennes. He was joined by Nicolas Mercat, Mayor of Le Bourget-du-Lac and Delegate Councillor for Eco-mobility for the Grand Lac Agglomeration Community, and Julien Vitse, Consultation Officer at the Right to Cycle Lille (ADAV) association.

The workshop was well-attended, and discussions focused on local and national regulations, the sizing and network of bicycle parking facilities, the distribution between on-street and in-building parking, and governance issues.
