Mall

Parking is a major issue for shopping centers, as they serve a large catchment area. Furthermore, for centers located on the outskirts of cities, or for large or heavy purchases (such as weekly grocery shopping), customers primarily arrive by car.

These shopping centers generally have large parking capacities, the occupancy of which varies considerably, with peak periods. Depending on the urban context, the challenges and questions to be addressed are numerous:
  • quality of service offered to users and quality of customer experience;
  • methods of managing the works;
  • opportunity for barriers or even pricing and integration of the parking lot into a broader context;
  • possibly reassigning some spaces to uses other than parking.

    • the implementation or renewal of wayfinding instead,
    • the deployment of charging stations for electric vehicles,
Stadium and convention center

Stadium-type facilities or convention centers have a low overall usage rate but generate significant one-off demands.

Tourism and leisure

Seaside resort, ski resort, places of art or history, places of scientific discovery… tourist sites are multifaceted but present common problems in terms of parking.

Hospital complexes

The evolution of hospital practices tends to densify hospital sites, often at the expense of surface parking, which requires a comprehensive approach to travel in order to correctly estimate future parking needs.

Social housing

Sareco regularly conducts missions on parking and travel in social neighborhoods, particularly within the framework of the National Urban Renewal Plans (PNRU).
