Stadium and convention center

Stadium-type facilities or convention centers have a low overall usage rate but generate significant one-off demands.

From a parking perspective, they create specific problems.
  • It is difficult to meet the total demand generated with infrastructure because the parking lot would only be occupied for limited periods.
  • Temporary solutions can be put in place, such as shuttle buses connecting to distant car parks, for example.

Content of the missions

Sareco's involvement in these missions generally consists of:
  • evaluate parking generation;
  • define the organization and management of parking;
  • organize the flow of cars and pedestrians.

Tourism and leisure

Seaside resort, ski resort, places of art or history, places of scientific discovery… tourist sites are multifaceted but present common problems in terms of parking.

Mall

Parking is a major issue for shopping centers, as they serve a large catchment area. Furthermore, for centers located on the outskirts of cities, or for large or heavy purchases (such as weekly grocery shopping), customers primarily arrive by car.

Hospital complexes

The evolution of hospital practices tends to densify hospital sites, often at the expense of surface parking, which requires a comprehensive approach to travel in order to correctly estimate future parking needs.

Social housing

Sareco regularly conducts missions on parking and travel in social neighborhoods, particularly within the framework of the National Urban Renewal Plans (PNRU).
