Social housing

Sareco regularly conducts missions on parking and travel in social neighborhoods, particularly within the framework of the National Urban Renewal Plans (PNRU).

The main mobility issues specific to these environments are: accessibility difficulties, reduced mobility, the encroachment of cars on public spaces, underutilization of private parking lots, and limited space allocated to cycling

    • investigations day and night, on public roads and sometimes within private car parks
    • interviews with landlords and/or residents,
    • an analysis of INSEE data,
    • an analysis of bicycle parking conditions in the neighborhood
    • an inventory of mobility services available in the neighborhood,
  2. Recommendations
    • a sizing of parking requirements,
    • parking allocation and management scenarios for the neighborhood,
    • financial elements by key ratios (investments, operations),
    • recommendations regarding bicycle parking,
    • specific support measures may include, for example, the development of mobility services or the implementation of multi-stakeholder approaches.
Stadium and convention center

Stadium-type facilities or convention centers have a low overall usage rate but generate significant one-off demands.

Tourism and leisure

Seaside resort, ski resort, places of art or history, places of scientific discovery… tourist sites are multifaceted but present common problems in terms of parking.

Mall

Parking is a major issue for shopping centers, as they serve a large catchment area. Furthermore, for centers located on the outskirts of cities, or for large or heavy purchases (such as weekly grocery shopping), customers primarily arrive by car.

Hospital complexes

The evolution of hospital practices tends to densify hospital sites, often at the expense of surface parking, which requires a comprehensive approach to travel in order to correctly estimate future parking needs.
