| Staking |
A set of directional signs indicating to drivers where they can park, depending on their final destination. The message displayed can be fixed (permanent) or dynamic (variable).

| Dynamic staking |
All the signs or information devices installed on the road (or in a car) indicating the direction of the car parks (or levels/zones within the car park) in association with the number of spaces available in real time. See also Parking space guidance.
