Area of influence | Entire urban sector where parking conditions will be modified when the parking lot opens (or closes). The zone of influence has a radius a priori twice as large as the radius of the Generation zone .
|
Generation area | (or catchment area) Geographical area made up of all the destination points likely to be served by a car park. Note: it is generally accepted as a first approximation that the generation zone extends within a radius of 300 meters; it is however influenced by surrounding competing offers and urban divides. See also Area of Influence and Generator .

This regulation created in 2008 does not in itself restrict traffic but limits speed to 20 km/h with priority for pedestrians on the road. Parking is inconvenient (second class fines, even immobilization and impoundment) outside the spaces provided for this purpose (Highway Code, Art. 417-10)
