Parking decentralization

A system of parking in which the amount a motorist incurs for misuse of the service is set by the local authority responsible for parking policy, and not by the state. This system was introduced in Law MAPTAM , on the modernization of local public action and the strengthening of metropolitan areas (Art. 63). See also Decriminalization and Post-Parking Fee.
