Resident	At its meeting of June 9, 1994, the Dictionary Commission decided to extend the use of the noun " resident" to designate a person who, by choice or by profession, lives in a country, city, street, or residence. The present participle "resident" will be used as an adjective, but not as a noun. See also *Parking Residential*.
